ASB GlassFloor is the global leader in LED glass sports flooring, combining cutting edge technology with iconic design to redefine sports and entertainment experiences worldwide. The company is headquartered in the Chiemgau region in Stein an der Traun in the district of Traunstein, Germany.

We are now looking for you at our location in Stein an der Traun as a Design Engineer (m/f/d):

Your tasks with us:

  • You will develop stable and functional aluminum-glass constructions – from individual components to complete systems.
  • You will oversee special constructions – from the initial idea to implementation in production and assembly.
  • You will be part of the technical project management team and liaise with the technical departments of customers and suppliers.
  • You will create technical documentation, production drawings, and parts lists for production.

What you bring with you:

  • Degree in mechanical engineering, design engineering, further training as a mechanical engineer (m/f/d) or comparable relevant professional experience.
  • Extensive experience in the design/development of metal or lightweight constructions.
  • Confident use of 2D/3D CAD systems and ideally experience in FEM calculations.
  • Analytical thinking, innovative spirit, and technical understanding.
  • Independent, structured, and solution-oriented approach to work.
  • Very good written and spoken German and English.
  • Confident use of MS Office and ideally experience with ERP/PDM systems.

We are now looking for you at our location in Stein an der Traun as a Design Engineer (m/f/d):

Your tasks with us:

  • Management and coordination: Independent management and execution of our customer projects – from planning to successful completion. 
  • Project management: Central point of contact for customers, planning partners, and internal teams for all electrical engineering issues. 
  • Technical responsibility: Ensuring the technical and economic implementation of the assigned projects. 
  • Planning and implementation: Implementation planning with selection and specification of electrical parts and components (e.g., power supplies, controllers, cabling). 
  • Quality assurance: Testing and commissioning of electronic components in compliance with applicable electrical engineering regulations (VDE 0100-600). 
  • Product development: Development of innovative electrical engineering solutions to increase performance, functionality, and energy efficiency. 

 

What you bring to the table:

  • Completed training in electrical engineering or master craftsman/technician/degree in media technology, electrical engineering, or comparable technical training. 
  • You are interested in further developing our company, our processes, and our products and taking them to the next level. 
  • Experience in LED / video technology or event technology is welcome. 
  • You have a reliable, results-oriented and independent way of working.

We are looking for you as an Event Technician (m/f/d) at our location in Stein an der Traun:

Your tasks with us:

  • Installation and set-up: Coordination and professional installation of our LED floors at events and in permanent installations.
  • Technical support: carrying out functional tests and fault analyses as well as quickly rectifying technical problems before and during events.
  • Media technology: Configuration and operation of media and broadcast technology at events, trade fairs and studio and TV productions.
  • Trend monitoring: Active monitoring of new developments and trends in the field of media and broadcast technologies.
  • Project management: Conception, planning and control of media technology projects.
  • Cooperation: Coordination and cooperation with external partners such as architects, specialist planners and lighting and sound experts.
  • Team coordination: Organization and internal coordination of tasks within the team.
  • Equipment management: Documentation and maintenance of technical equipment and management of its use.
  • Costing: Preparation of cost calculations and budget overviews.

What you bring with you:

  • Completed training or master craftsman/technician in the fields of event technology, media technology, radio and television technology or comparable technical training or corresponding professional experience.
  • Basic understanding of interrelationships in media, IT and network technology.
  • Ideally, you have good skills in dealing with media players/servers, signal routing, media controls and LED controllers.
  • You are interested in further developing our company, our processes and our products and taking them to the next level.

We are looking for you, a fitter / craftsman / all-rounder who has the talent to work precisely and independently with a wide variety of materials such as glass, metal, wood, plaster and LEDs. You work in an experienced team and every assembly is discussed and prepared in detail.

Requirement profile
  • Assembly experience (an advantage), manual dexterity.
  • Driving license (class B or C).
  • Motivation and high flexibility.
  • Willingness to travel.
  • Knowledge of English.

We are now looking for you at our location in Stein an der Traun as a Technical draftsman (m/f/d):

Your tasks with us:

  • Collaboration in the constructive further development of existing systems.
  • Creation of parts lists and technical documentation.
  • Close coordination with design, project management, and assembly departments.
  • Review and adaptation of drawings according to customer or project requirements.
  • Support in the creation of assembly plans and manufacturing documents.
  • Assistance in the creation of QM and product documentation.

What you bring with you:

  • Completed training as a technical or architectual draftswoman/draftsman (m/f/d), technical product designer (m/f/d), or similar.
  • Experience in the design of metal components is an advantage.
  • Confident use of 2D/3D design programs such as SolidWorks, BricsCAD or similar.
  • Technical understanding and good spatial awareness.
  • Structured, independent, and team-oriented approach to work.

ASB GlassFloor America

ASB GlassFloor America represents our presence in the United States, serving the North American market with state of the art glass floor solutions and local expertise. The team is based in Orlando, Florida.

We are now looking for you as a Technical Project Manager (all genders) at our location in Orlando, FL (with travel).

Role Summary 

This role leads the planning and execution of ASB GlassFloor projects across the United States, including temporary event installations and permanent deployments.  

You will manage projects end-to-end, from early technical planning through on-site installation, live operation, and load-out working directly with LED systems, electrical infrastructure, logistics partners, staging crews, and venue stakeholders.  

This is a planning, field-focused, hands-on role. It requires project organization and real-time decision-making in active venues operating under fixed broadcast timelines and non-negotiable performance requirements.  

 

Your tasks with us:  

Project Management & Execution  

  • Plan, coordinate, and deliver US-based projects on time and within budget  
  • Develop and manage project timeless and schedules, labor plans, budgets, and resource allocation  
  • Act as the primary point of contact between internal teams, vendors, staging partners, and venue representatives  
  • Manage both temporary event installs and permanent installations  
  • Lead on-site operations from load-in through live deployment and load-out and make real-time operational decisions during live or high-pressure conditions  
  • Maintain an oversight on all technical aspects of each project, and ensure the project team have a clear and consistent understanding of technical deliverables.  
  • Ensure high standards of health and safety are consistently maintained.  

 

Technical Oversight  

  • Gather onsite details and collaborate with engineering and production teams or general contractors to adapt system designs to site-specific conditions  
  • Create, review, and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and installation plans  
  • Ensure compliance with safety standards, electrical requirements, and venue regulations  
  • Provide hands-on technical support during installations, including power planning, load calculations, and electrical coordination  

 

Operational Support  

  • Assist in developing new processes for US operations, including supply chain and vendor management  
  • Support technical training and onboarding for installation partners and contractors  
  • Identify opportunities to improve system design, installation methods, and field reliability based on project experience  
  • Provide technical and cost inputs for proposals, bids, and client-facing materials  
  • Build and maintain strong working relationships with clients, venue operators, and partners  

 

What you bring with you:  

  • Degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related technical field; equivalent hands-on experience will be considered  
  • 5+ years of experience in technical project management or field engineering, live events, AV systems or complex construction installations   
  • Demonstrated hands-on experience with mechanical assemblies or electrical systems, or large-scale technical deployments   
  • Ability to create, read and work from technical drawings and installation plans  
  • Proven ability to lead on-site teams and make decisions in high-pressure, time-critical environments  
  • Strong organizational and communication skills across technical and non-technical stakeholders  
  • Willingness to travel and work on-site as required  
  • Proficiency with project management tools  
  • PMP or similar certification is a plus, but not required
