Comdirect Supercup

On 20th October, ASB RentalSolutions provided a 714 m² LumiFlex floor combined with MultiSports for the comdirect Supercup. For the first time ever, a competitive Olympic sport was played on an interactive GlassFloor, ASB LumiFlex, and broadcast live across the nation. A world premiere that excited both fans and players alike!

For the third time taking place at the TUI Arena Hanover, the winner of the German Volleyball Bundesliga played against the DVV Cup winner. To make this a memorable event they contacted ASB to deliver a Volleyball court which would be remembered for years.

ASB stepped up to the challenge and provided the LumiFlex centre court, which displayed spectacular visual highlights throughout the game, as well as making the opening and closing show a memorable one for years to come. Game actions such as Blocks, Aces or successful attacking plays were graphically animated for the spectators, and fun games for the audience to get involved in during breaktime were shown. All of this while MultiSports supported the main star by providing the outer bound zone – together they formed a formidable team!
ASB AR together with Kinexon enabled live data to be projected on the floor, displaying data such as jumping height or the running path of the player. Watch our highlight video to see more.

The event was attended by roughly 5.000 excited volleyball fans, who were astounded by the futuristic court as well as the incredible performance by the ladies of SSC Palmberg Schwerin and Allianz MTV Stuttgart, as well as the men’s teams Berlin Recycling Volleys and VfB Friedrichshafen Volleyball.
